Beyoncé Unveils New Single “Grown Woman” In Pepsi Mirrors Commercial, Revisits Past “Crazy In Love,” “Single Ladies” Looks [VIDEO]

Beyoncé teases her new single "Grown Woman" in a Pepsi commercial, and emphasizes that she has evolved and grown over the years by revisiting her past 'hit' looks.

The commercial featuring Beyoncé and directed by Jake Nava, who worked with Beyoncé on the videos for "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" and "Crazy in Love," shows different incarnations of Mrs. Carter, from "Crazy In Love's" Sasha Fierce to "Boodylicious" Destiny's Child Beyoncé.

About 20 seconds into the spot, Beyoncé shows off some lyrics from her new track. She sings, "They like the way I walk cause I walk with a vengeance/ And you listen to me when I talk cause I ain't pretendin.'"

The track features a sporadic beat and Timbaland's beat boxing. She sings, "Took a while now I understand just where I'm going/ I know the world and I know who I am 'bout time I show it/ and I'm moving down like that when I do it."

According to Billboard, the track was produced by Timbaland and will be the lead single off her 2013 album. The single is set to release on Monday, April 8.

Beyoncé has yet to announce when her entire album will drop, but she did tease fans with new music last month, when she dropped the aggressive track "Bow Down/ I Been On."

Beyoncé released a statement saying that reliving her past was one reason she had "so much fun" filming the Pepsi commercial. "I got to relive some of my favorite past characters and looks. It was the first time I saw those costumes in years and it was very emotional. I'm proud of those moments and they all connect in some way and have helped me evolve into who I am today," Beyoncé said.
