Kate Middleton Due Date In Mid-July, But “Babies Have Their Own Agenda; Friends Of Couple Text Royal Baby Name Suggestions

Kate Middleton hinted at her due date, which has been highly anticipated by followers of the royal couple, whose other member is Prince William.

Kate Middleton told onlooker Rachel Sawyer that her due date is "around mid-July, but apparently babies have their own agenda."

When asked about the royal baby's name, Kate replied, "We have a short list for both but it's very difficult. My friends keep texting me boy and girl names."

Kate Middleton was accompanying Prince William on a charity trip to Scotland and had stopped in Glasgow when she made the comments about her baby.

The couple is on a two-day tour of local venues, including Emirates arena and Chris Hoy Velodrome.

Prince William, in a speech at the sporting venue where he participated in a field hockey game earlier, said, "Catherine and I have thoroughly enjoyed spending part of this afternoon with you all at this impressive Donald Dewar Leisure Centre." Catherine, who, you may have noticed, is limited a little in the sports she can play right now, has had to hold herself back from grabbing a tennis racquet and challenging me to a full game."

"I am far too much of a gentleman to say who would win," Kate's husband joked.

Sawyer asked when Kate, who has had a rough time in the early months of her pregnancy, would be able to relax. Kate Middleton said, "around June time."

During the visit, 17-year-old Caitlin Tominey gave Middleton a wool baby bonnet, teddy bear and onesie. Middleton thanked the girl, saying, "It's very sweet of you, I'll keep it safe for the big day. I've been trying to knit and I'm really bad. I should be asking you for tips."

There's no question that Middleton has been making an impact on the public with her kindness and generosity.

One fan of Middleton, Isabella Clarkson, was personally touched by the princess's thoughtfulness. When Isabella wrote to Middleton about missing the opportunity to meet her and Prince William during a public event, Middleton's representative responded to the 10-year-old, making an impression that would last a lifetime.

The girl told the Grimsby Telegraph, "I think Kate is doing all the good work that Princess Diana did and she seems very generous."
