At 4am Saturday morning Miguel Jiminez bled to death after falling and cutting himself on a broken bottle. Jiminez and a friend were having an argument outside of a Brooklyn restaurant, La Cabana Rodriguez.

According to other reports the two men were arguing over the check. The argument would lead to Jiminez's death as a result of falling on a broken bottle. While the two men were arguing outside the restaurant Jiminez suddenly and without warning took out a machete and chased his friend down the street.

As Jiminez ran down the street waving the machete he dropped the blade in order to catch up to his friend and the two men came to blows. As he was tussling with the other man Jiminez fell to the ground cutting his right bicep on a broken bottle.

The man Jiminez was fighting with fled the scene. Jiminez tried to chase after him again but according to witnesses collapsed in the street. The witnesses flagged down a police car told the officer what happened and got Jiminez to the hospital. Unfortunately Jiminez bled to death on the way to the hospital as a result of cutting himself on the broken bottle.

The police found Jiminez's machete at the scene of the fight. They are still looking for the man Jiminez was fighting with.
