Will there be a love interest for Daryl Dixon in "Walking Dead" season 6? In a recent interview, actor Norman Reedus talked about the character he portrayed in the TV series.

According to a report on Inquisitr, Reedus apparently hinted recently that Daryl Dixon might be finding some love soon.

"Allowing himself to fall in love is something Daryl Dixon wouldn't have done until after he's lost everything and the world's gone to shit," he told The Guardian as quoted by the source above. "Part of that character's appeal is that you're watching this guy reinvent himself as someone who's finding a sense of self-worth through other people in his life. He's slowly becoming proud of who he is."

It has yet to be confirmed if Norman Reedus' "Walking Dead" would finally be getting a love interest this upcoming season. But the buzz about it has been circulating since May. As reported by fan site Undead Walking back then, the show has reportedly been looking for a love interest for Dixon.

If love does come Dixon's way, Reedus has expressed in the past that he wanted it to happen just like it does in real life.

"It's become such a big deal, who I hook up with on the show," he told Entertainment Weekly in February. "In real life, when you hook up with someone and it's real, you don't see it coming, so I kind off don't want to see it coming."

It was not clear if Reedus was making a personal reference about his character's love outlook based on his personal life. It has been a while since the actor has been linked to someone.
