The Original Idol Stars Warn the New Idol Stars to Watch Out for Unfair Contracts

The first generation idol stars were recently on a television show to give an advice to the newcomers in the industry.

Noh Yoomin (formerly of NRG), Danny Ahn(formerly of GOD) as well as the more recent idol group member Kim HyungJoon of SS501 were featured on the television game show 'Idol Premiere Quiz Show' and they had a lot of good advice to give to the new idol stars.

They spoke of their experience of starting their entertainment career at a young age and growing into actors and becoming leaders and warned the new artists to watch out for unjust contracts.

Kim HyungJoon revealed his personal opinion that "the celebrities should take 60% of the profit, and 40% should go to the management" and Noh Yoomin said "you have to read the contract carefully. There's a standard set by the Korean Fair Trade Commission so you should take that into consideration."

Danny Ahn added that "you're allowed to report the management if you think the contract isn't fair" and also that "singers and actors need different amounts of investment money. Singers take a lot more money at the beginning than actors do and therefore should have a different contract."

This episode of "Idol Premiere Quizshow" will air on January 13th.
