Finally, One Direction's band members have clarified news reports which have been saying that they are going to break up soon.

In a report by Sugarscape, Liam Payne and Harry Styles debunked the said stories.

The London-based pop boy band members explained that they are only taking a break, but definitely not considering a break up.

"We could never really walk away from something this good and this is something we all thoroughly enjoy doing," Liam said about One Direction's speculated break up. "But we've done five albums in five years and toured at the same time so I think it's a little bit of time for us to kind of realise how well we've done and stuff."

"Then it'll give more time for us to write great music again but we all just deserve a little holiday. A little beach holiday in the sun, maybe," he added.

As for Harry, he pointed out that they are not only going on a tour next year, the kind of break which they were talking about.

"All we've really said is that we're just not touring next year and we have done for five years, so I get why saying we're not doing one feels like it's a thing, but we're just gonna take a little break," Harry emphasized when it comes to One Direction's break up rumors.

In the meantime, the State Journal Register shared a commentary about the "What Makes You Beautiful" performers.

Kate Ross noted that as a "directioner" herself, she knows that the boy group "is about more than just an image."

As many would tend to think that their genre is "dumb and shallow" so as their fans, Ross commented that 1D's songs actually have deeper meanings, while citing "Moments" as the song which touched her.

"'Moments' is about experiencing loss, and losing yourself in the process of losing someone else," she wrote.

Could this mean that as a fan it really hurts her to hear stories that One Direction is going to break up soon? However, with Liam and Harry denying it, their followers could have already heaved a sigh of relief.
