Korean American group Aziatix hit number one on Japan’s R&B/Soul iTunes chart with their album “Nocturnal (Deluxe Edition).”

The album released on January 11 has been receiving an explosive reception. The deluxe edition includes new tracks “Nothing Compares to You,” “So Amazing” featuring Stevie Hoang, “Be With You (Rock Mix)” and “Go (Acoustic).”

The rookie group made its debut ten months ago since then they have released eight music videos, two albums, held a 12-city tour in the US, and gained media coverage both in America and Asia. Japan’s largest music distributor Tower Records chose them as “Artist of the Month” for September 2011.

The group also was selected as “Best New Asian Group” at the MAMA 2011 awards show.
