Mega entertainment company SM Entertainment will collaborate with a Japanese management company to direct an audition show. It is to produce a world star, they revealed.

TBS, a Japanese network, announced recently that SM will work with Yoshimoto in directing a global auditioning show, "Performance A." The program will take participants for singing, dancing and other x-factors and select judges from various agents and producers in Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, United States and France.

Such joint effort by SM and a foreign network is the first of its kind. With TBS network and Yoshimoto network covering around 20 million households in air waves, an astronomical number of participants are to be expected.. 

The show, "Performance A," will premiere on April 22 on TBS network in Japan.
