Amanda Bynes Caught Reading Tabloid About Herself In NYC Drugstore

On Monday, Amanda Bynes, 27, was seen leafing through a tabloid story about herself while at a drugstore in New York City.

The Easy A actress, her with her log knotty blond wig and dark sunglasses, attempted to go incognito as she picked up a copy of In Touch magazine, whose headline blared "What happened to this child star?" She was caught by a paparazzi and her cover is now blown.

It was quite the ironic turn of events. After Amanda constantly tweets not to read the tabloids about her and don't buy into the gossip, the What I Like About You You ex-actress is doing just that. In the picture she seems to be smiling, as if it's humorous, but the situation is in fact quite serious.

During a spate of increasingly odd behavior, Byne who's still in a legal rut over a litany of driving boo-boos last year, has gone on the offensive over the constant media coverage over incessant public scrutiny. Yesterday she threatened to sue a string of press outlets over a puddle of bad ink. Amanda, don't tell us not to read the rumors if you are doing it yourself.

The bottom line with Bynes is either she has a mental illness or she's on something not kosher. This girl needs help and fast. Her twitter pictures and comments are nothing short of psychotic. She's erratic and inconstant and she has no idea how strange she is being...the solid sign of a crazy person.

The picture of Amanda reading about herself in In Touch can be found on EOnline.
