Blake Shelton Will Officiate Kelly Clarkson's Wedding To Brandon Blackstock

"American Idol" alum Kelly Clarkson revealed at the 48th ACM Awards on Sunday that her country crooner pal Blake Shelton will not only sing at her upcoming wedding; he'll be officiating!

Clarkson, 30, told "Entertainment Tonight's" Nancy O'Dell that "The Voice" mentor will conduct her wedding to fiance Brandon Blackstock. "He's not only singing, he's marrying us!"

The two singers are longtime buddies and Sheldon has had a big influence on Clarkson's relationship.

Last December, Shelton, 36, told Hollyscoop that he made sure that Clarkson's fiance popped the question in a timely manner.

"I told Brandon, man, you need to grow up and figure out that you need to marry this girl. I am going on the record saying, I will do the music at the wedding or whatever you want to do, I'll be that guy. I will play for four hours if I have to, cause you need to get your head out of your ass and ask that girl to marry you." Now that's a girl's dream wingman!

Blackstone is the son of Clarkson's manager,  Narvel Blackstock, who just happens to be married to country legend Reba McEntire, so you know this wedding will be filled with country music royalty. Clarkson said she's already picked out her wedding dress and the month of the nuptials, but the date keeps getting moved around because of conflicting schedules.

Blackstock and Kelly announced their engagement via Twitter on December 15th with a picture of her canary yellow diamond engagement ring.

"I wanted y'all to know! Happiest night of my life last night!" I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever."
