Girls' Generation's Airport Fashion and Us

Girls' Generation's unique airport looks have once again become a hot issue.

It seems to happen every time they fly somewhere. It is true.

This time around, it was during their departure to Japan for their 2013 Arena Tour. With nine members showcasing different styles, the public naturally come to choose the best and worst dressers from the group in every outing. Also, many of their endorsements are on full display during these casual, unofficial events and blow an enormous impact on latest fashion trends.

But to the girls themselves, the swarms of reporters and paparazzi, endless articles and photos that scrutinize and dissect everything about their looks have got to be suffocating at best. We can be sure that the phrase airport fashion does not bring a smile to their faces; if anything, a daunting choice to make from thousands of possibilities.  Even for the public, the excessive reporting and talking about Girls' Generation's clothing have been too much at times.

But the clicks continue on articles and photos of their latest fashion items because what the girls wear largely define what is cool and what is not. Other than at airports, Girls' Generation members in street clothes are a rare sighting so most people can't help but see. For young women living in today's society that overemphasizes external beauty, there is almost no choice but to keep in touch with the female circle of reality. So the clicks continue.

As long as fashion trends are dictated by celebrities and their outfits, we will continue to come across a barrage of 'airport fashion' reports and photos. As such, we will most likely not see the end of them for a long time.
