Paris Jackson Ditches Show Biz Dreams, Saying She Wants To Be A Surgeon

Paris Jackson, the 15-year-old daughter of the late Michael Jackson has decided not to follow in her dad's show biz shoes; instead she wants to become a surgeon.

Paris Jackson spoke with the Daily Mail about growing up as the daughter of the King of Pop. She opened up about living a protected life and what plans she has for herself in the future.

For a while it looked as though Paris Jackson was going to follow in her fathers footsteps and choose a life in the spotlight. Now the 15-year-old says she would like to become a surgeon. To be more specific Paris Jackson would like to be a heart-surgeon.

"I want to help people, that is it," Paris Jackson told the Daily Mail.

The Daily Mail did not report any more details about Paris Jackson and her desire to become a surgeon. The story focused more on her childhood and what she remembers about her ife with her father. Paris was 11 when her dad died.

Still wanting to keep the memory of her father alive, Paris Jackson also said she wants to restore the Neverland Ranch.  Paris visited the estate recently and was overwhelmed with emotion, especially when she saw the Ferris Wheel was gone.

"I cried and cried. It is beautiful there. It still has good energy," Paris Jackson said.

Paris Jackson hopes to revive the Neverland Ranch so that less fortunate children may enjoy the place. Michael Jackson built the ranch as a place for children to come an enjoy themselves. It fulfilled Michael Jackson's desire to have a place where you never had to grow up.

Despite Paris Jackson's claim that the Neverland Ranch still has a positive feel, the Neverland Ranch is where her father Michael was accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old boy who had cancer.

The pop star was brought to trial for the accusation in 2005 but was acquitted. During the case the prosecution portrayed Jackson as a calculating predator. Citing Jackson's own words saying he allowed children to sleep in his bed and saw nothing wrong with that.

There are some who still believe Jackson is guilty while others refuse to accept the possibility that the King of Pop may have been a pedophile.

Paris Jackson spoke with the Daily Mail about growing up as MJ's daughter. Paris Jackson described her father as loving and devoted. She said that he wanted his children to have a normal childhood, something Michael never had.

The future heart surgeon, Paris Jackson told the Daily Mail, "I have lots of memories of my father. He was an incredible father. We all loved him to death. He'd try to educate us as much as he could and was always looking out for us. He was very protective... He didn't want anyone to see what we looked like. That way we could have what he didn't, which was a normal childhood."
