Hugh Jackman's stalker, 47-year-old Katherine Thurston followed the "Les Miserables" actor into his gym and then threatened Jackman with a razor.

The stalker threatened Jackman outside his Manhattan gym at 8am on April 13. Hugh Jackman's stalker approached the native Australian asking, "We're getting married, right?"

The stalker then followed Hugh Jackman into the gym screaming "I love you!" After her outbursts she pulled an electric razor out of her bag. The startled actor thought she was going for a gun or a knife.

According to the New York Post police are saying that the razor the stalker used to threaten Hugh Jackman was covered with her pubic hair.

One month before the incident at the gym Jackman's stalker walked up to his wife Deborra-Lee Furness while she was holding their 7-year-old daughter. During this occurrence Jackman's stalker told his wife, "I'm going to marry your husband."

Hugh Jackman spoke with the New York Post after the episode the gym. The 44-year-old "Wolverine" star said,

"It was obviously frightening. For me, my main concern is for my family." Jackman goes on to say, "I just hope the woman gets the help she needs."

Jackman also thanked prosecutors for taking the case seriously.

Hugh Jackman's stalker, Katherine Thurston is a California native with 3 children, all grown. She was arrested and is being held on a $15,000 bond or $7,500 cash bail.

According to the Post Thurston has been stalking Jackman for a while. She received probation for stalking the actor at a concert last year in San Francisco. Thurston was diagnosed as bi-polar at age 17.

The Post spoke with the prosecution and members of Thurston's family. They said she believed that Jackman and his wife wanted her to become his second wife.

According to Thurston's daughter, her mother has been suffering with this delusion for a long time. Jackman's stalker had admitted to traveling to New York twice in order to follow the "Boy from Oz" actor.

"My mother has a very high IQ and is very manipulative. But she is sick and she doesn't listen to the doctors. She can go from being completely lucid to totally crazy in seconds," said Kalianna Thurston.

The New York Post also says that while Jackman's stalker was in New York she was staying at a Harlem homeless shelter, wearing an engagement ring and talking non stop about her "future husband."
