Dennis Rodman...The New FBI Informant Of North Korea? Says Kim Jong-Un is "Lifelong Friend"

The recently fired Celebrity Apprentice Star allegedly has a new job In North Korea.  He claims the FBI contacted him and asked if he was willing to work as an informant for the Communist country and its leader Kim Jong Un.

After a successful, highly publicized stay in North Korea in February, where he was filming an HBO documentary called "Vice," which aired April 5th, Rodman told The Miami Herald he now calls Kim Jong-un "a friend for life" and "an awesome guy." The two allegedly bonded and feasted together and now Rodman claims he's been invited back by Kim to North Korea in August.

"I have been contacted by the FBI and I met with them. They wanted to know what went on and who's really in charge in North Korea," Rodman boasted to Herald reporter, Lesley Abravanel.

He adds "I'm not a total idiot.  I know what Kim Jong-un is threatening to do regarding his military muscle. I hope it doesn't happen because America will take whatever actions to protect America and our allies."

After being asked how he plans to help, the retired basketball star explains "I do think, umm, you know, that we have to talk to people who want to cause us harm so hopefully they won't. I've been talking to folks for years who don't get what I'm about but that's cool, 'cause once they walk away they like me. I might be able to keep folks' heads cool. We all going to find a way to get along and keep peace. Peace and love is where it is at, Lesley."

Thank you for putting it so eloquently for us, Mr. Rodman.

Rodman has already proved he's not exactly helpful when it comes to secretive matters. He inadvertently has revealed North Korean state secrets, such as when he let it slip that Kim and his wife had children, which was previously unconfirmed.

While news that Dennis Rodman is an FBI informant is certainly interesting, it raises the question: Is one allowed to tell reporters about their informant status?

What do you think of Rodman's bogus allegation?
