Ellen DeGeneres promised to fix Selena Gomez up with a boyfriend on today's episode on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. During Selena Gomez's interview with the talk show host, Gomez said she was ready to find new love after her breakup from pop star Justin Bieber.

Ellen told the "Come And Get It" singer, "It's got to be hard. Everybody knew you were a couple and now you're not together anymore. ...And, of course, no one's just going to leave it alone. We have to ask you about it. But you are doing OK? We're concerned that you're happy and we want you to be happy."

Selena said, "Yeah, I am."

When Ellen asked if Selena had had any dates recently, or any requests for dates, Selena simply answered "no."

DeGeneres suggested that Selena couldn't get a date because potential suitors are 'intimidated' by her beauty and talent. Gomez said, "I don't know. Hopefully, that's a lot nicer than just to say they're not into me."

Ellen promised the young star, "Tell me what you want. I'll get him. ...I can make it happen." Then, DeGeneres asked, "What are you looking for? What do you like in a guy?"

Selena said, "Someone that can make me laugh. And someone who is great to my parents... I feel like I'm doing my eHarmony profile."

But Selena doesn't have to resort to online dating to find a new boyfriend just yet - "I've got Ellen," she said.

However, Selena might not be ready to date a mature, big name celebrity, like, for example, Brad Pitt. Selena mentioned that she met Brad Pitt at the MTV Movie Awards 2013 that aired on Sunday.

"So I was in my dressing room and I had just finished performing. And they knocked on my door and they said Brad Pitt would like to come in and I was like, 'He can come in.' I was trying to play it cool and be really nice and as soon as he walked out I ran and I hid under the craft service table for like two minutes because I couldn't believe it was happening."

Selena Gomez explained that Brad had wanted a photo of her for his kids, who "were fans of the show."

Unfortunately, Selena failed to take a photo for herself with Brad. She said, "No, there was a lot happening." But, she noted, "He's so pretty."
