New Topless Photo Of Angelina Jolie And Horse May Fetch $53,000 At Christie's Auction

A never-before-seen topless photo of Angelina Jolie will be put up for auction in London at Christie's next month. It's a David LaChapelle outtake from a 2001 shoot in Los Angeles for Rolling Stone. The shot is of a lighthearted Jolie flinging her hair back. A white horse is nuzzling her bare chest with its mouth.

The racy photo, fittingly titled "Horseplay," has never previously been published, and collectors are eager to get their hands on the photo. It's also an interesting hallmark of time. Jolie was only 25, and the infamous "Billy Bob" tattoo on her bicep is highly legible; the actor Billy Bob Thornton was still her husband at the time.  After their tempestuous marriage ended, Jolie had the tattoo removed. The couple's relationship lasted three years and was frequently a media spectacle.

Christie's, where the photograph is to be up for grabs, estimates that it will sell for around $53,000-- a pretty penny, but worth it to some. It is the first of two shots of Jolie to be featured at the auction. The second, only expected to fetch about $18,000, is of both Jolie and Pitt. It's a black and white Stephen Klein outtake from a popular W magazine shoot. In the series, Jolie and Pitt posed as husband and wife to promote "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" before they were officially an item.
