Yura Is The Modern Minnie Mouse In Nylon

Girl's Day member Yura has been chosen as the new muse of casual apparel brand Whole Hauss! The popular label, which has been endorsed by other top acts like Girls' Generation and Orange Caramel, is known for making beloved cartoon characters part of the everyday wardrobe. After creating ensembles with the Smurfs and Mickey Mouse, the Fall/Winter 2015 collection centers on Minnie Mouse.

For the October issue of Nylon, Yura modeled denim overall dresses, parkas, thick duffle coats, plaid shirts and tons of low boots and sneakers. All of the pieces had the distinct Whole House patches, knitted prints and sleeve stars.

According a brand representative, it was Yura's daily commute style and on point airport fashion that compelled the brand to reach out. The collaboration was meant to be a "reinterpretation of the character that feels more feminine and classic." Yura is known for her effortless combinations and natural beauty looks, so she was the perfect model to introduce the new line to the public.

In other fashion news. Yura recently joined forces with Korea's Next Top Model runner up Lee Chul Woo for a sporty pictorial featured in High Cut Vol. 159. The beauty was also very candid about idol dorm life in the pages of GEEK.
