EXO's Kai is set to make his highly anticipated return as a solo artist with the release of his fourth mini album, "Wait on Me."

The album is scheduled to drop on April 21 at 6 p.m. KST, marking his first solo comeback in two years following the release of Rover in March 2023. The new album will feature seven tracks, including the title song "Wait on Me" and the pre-released single "Adult Swim."

The song "Adult Swim" is described as an upbeat pop track characterized by an energetic drum loop and lyrics that liken deep emotions to two people swimming fearlessly underwater.

This comeback follows Kai's discharge from mandatory military service in February 2025. Since then, the idol has been steadily preparing for his return, including filming music videos. Pre-orders for "Wait on Me" began on March 31 across online and offline music stores.

Kai will perform "Adult Swim" on Mnet's M Countdown on April 3. Fans can also look forward to teaser content and promotional activities leading up to the album launch.

Following the album's release, Kai will launch an extensive solo concert tour titled 2025 KAI SOLO CONCERT TOUR <KAION>. The tour will kick off with performances in Seoul on May 17 and 18 before traveling to nine additional cities across Asia, including Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Jakarta, Singapore, Taipei, Manila, Bangkok, Yokohama, and Hong Kong.

Kai debuted as a member of EXO in 2012 and has since established himself as one of K-pop's most dynamic performers. His previous solo albums have achieved significant success, with Rover topping iTunes charts in 48 regions and earning multiple awards on music shows.

It is worth noting that fellow EXO member D.O. previously confirmed that a full-group comeback is unlikely for 2025 while Sehun is still serving in the military.
