After debuting last summer, Jung Joon Young Band is ready to take on their first official concert this December, reports Allkpop.
The eponymous rock band created by singer Jung Joon Young will be spending the last two days of the year - that's December 30 and 31 - rocking out with fans at the Sejong Cultural Center in Seoul, South Korea.
Jung Joon Young Band is made up of Jung Joon Young in vocals, and indie musicians DammIt on guitar, Sukwon on bass and Drok.Q on drums.
Tickets for the first official concert will be available to purchase starting November 2.
Jung Joon Young Band launched in late May under agency CJ E&M with their first album Escape to Hangover, the sound of which Jung Joon Young described as a "garage style mixed with hard rock alternative."
The singer also revealed that even though he had initially launched as a solo artist, he had been previously part of a band, and so Jung Joon Young Band feels like a return to his roots.
The album contained eight songs, including title track "OMG" that the band promoted in music shows in summer. Notably, American producer Brian Howes lent a hand in shaping the "OMG."
CJ E&M has said that the band will be releasing albums on a regular basis.
