Kit Harington and Rose Leslie continue to become co-stars in their recent project. After becoming Jon Snow and Ygritte on "Game of Thrones," they've now taken on a play for a charitable purpose.
As reported by Just Jared, both former "Game of Thrones" co-stars recently worked on the "The Children's Monologues." It was a one-time performance for them last month. The project was inspired by some children in South Africa and aimed to raise funds for the organization, Dramatic Need.
The Jon Snow actor and Ygritte actress did not share that stage though for the project. Just like they separately made their red carpet appearance for the play, they also performed separately and alone to share children's struggles of African children.
According to The Express, each of the stage performers took the stage alone to relay the tales of African kids. The actors and actresses that also participated did not have props to support their performance. It was mentioned in the report that they did not have costumes and instead wore what they had on upon arrival. They also got to rehearse their lines for only a few hours.
Kit Harington for one portrayed a 17-year od girl. It was not mentioned what role Rose Leslie had to take.
"When I was 13-years-old I was raped," the Jon Snow actor's first line for the play read according to the source above. "It was my uncle..."
Aside from the "Game of Thrones" stars, Nicole Kidman, Benedict Cumberbatch, Cressida Bonas and Josh Hartnett also starred in the London play at the Royal Court Theater as mentioned by Mail Online.
Pictures of Kit Harington and Rose Leslie at the Royal Court Theater were first seen on fan sites and fan Twitter accounts. At the time, it wasn't clear that they were together for work as both have been rumored to be dating as well. Both former "Game of Thrones" stars have yet to clarify the real deal between them amid the dating rumors.
