In a surprising move, BLACKPINK's Lisa launched her own comic company in the days before the release of her highly anticipated solo album, ALTER-EGO.
Lisa's management agency, LLOUD, on Tuesday, announced that it is releasing a limited edition comic book titled, "ALTER EGO: THE OFFICIAL COMIC," which will accompany the K-pop idol's debut solo album. The book was created by Lisa's own comic company, Lalisa Comics, in partnership with graphic novel publishing company Zero Zero Entertainment. The company collaborates with artists in the entertainment industry to develop original materials.
Lisa's comic book will be 56 pages long, with illustrations inspired by her upcoming solo album ALTER EGO, which Japanese artist MINOMIYABI drew. LLOUD released 100 signed copies of the comic, all of which have already been pre-ordered as of writing. Unsigned copies are available on the website lalisacomics.com.

What Will the Story Be About?
The comic will bring to life five distinct characters—Roxi, Sunni, Kiki, Speedi, and Vixi—each representing different facets of Lisa's personality. The story follows Vixi, a tech genius who becomes the unexpected bond uniting four remarkable friends.
When Vixi is trapped in a virtual reality nightmare by bullies, her friends must dive into a digital battleground to save her. The new venture has been met with enthusiasm from fans.
"Lalisa Comics sounds like a super cool venture! Can't wait to see her unique stories and characters come to life!" one user wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
"Get ready for a masterpiece!" another user commented.
The comic launch is part of a larger promotional strategy for Lisa's debut solo album, ALTER EGO, which will be released on Feb. 28. The album will include singles like "Rockstar," "New Woman," featuring Rosalia, and "Moonlit Floor."
It also comes after Lisa made her acting debut in the third season of the popular HBO series The White Lotus. The K-pop superstar plays Mook, a health mentor for guests at the White Lotus Thailand resort and an occasional performer. Despite her initial nervousness about playing the role, Lisa's performance has been well-received by critics and co-stars.
