Next year, one of the most anticipated superhero shows will make its debut as "Legends of Tomorrow" offers a lot of star power and action-packed scenes unlike anything before.
Fans can expect plenty of action, romance and new characters that will spice things up and recent rumors indicate that Sara Lance/White Canary and Ray Palmer/The Atom will start to develop a romantic relationship per showrunner Phil Klemmer.
According to Klemmer, certain events will lead members of the team to do unexpected things.
"Any time you're in in close, life-or-death quarters [aboard a time-traveling vessel], weird things happens with people," Klemmer said via TVLine.
In "Arrow" season 4 episode 6, Sara Lance will go with Black Canary and Speedy to rescue Ray Palmer/The Atom from the hands of Damien Dahrk. Here's a synopsis of the episode courtesy of Comic Book Movie.
Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) is frantic when she learns that Ray (guest star Brandon Routh) is alive and being held by Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough). Felicity's guilt over not finding Ray sooner causes tension between her and Oliver (Stephen Amell)."
"Meanwhile, Sara (guest star Caity Lotz) joins Laurel (Katie Cassidy), Thea (Willa Holland) and the team on a rescue mission for Ray. However, the effects of the Lazarus Pit take over and threaten to jeopardize the entire operation.
Meanwhile, here's the latest on Firestorm and it is confirmed that Jefferson "Jax" Jackson will be the one making an appearance in "Legends of Tomorrow" via Carter Matt.
"The idea of a second Firestorm being somebody who was just in his early 20s, somebody who was radically different from this Firestorm, so here you got to see the camaraderie, and when you see Legends, you're going to see a lot more of the, 'What the hell are you talking about? Why are we doing this?' while they're merged ... There's a lot more room for comedy with the Firestorm character than we previously had before. It's a freshness and an excitement."
