‘Orange Is The New Black’ Season 4 To Be Released In June? Series’ Characters ‘Up’ Their Game

Over the past several months, various forecasts have been on the official release date of "Orange Is The New Black" season 4.

Among the latest predictions is that the series may officially premiere in June 10, 2016, reported Netflix Life.

"June is a really good time for a show like OITNB because there's generally no competition around that time," said Bryce Olin, Netflix writer, in his online article.

Olin's calculations are based on the actual release date of the show's previous seasons.

"Orange Is The News Black" season 1 was released on July 11, 2013; season 2 on June 6, 2014; and season 3 on June 12 this year.

According to Olin, June may be considered the best time to premiere the series due to the lack of competition from the other networks during that period.

"True Detective has been one of the big names the past few summers, but for the most part, summer TV is very spotty," Olin said. "Typically, it's not very good!"

However, there's also a possibility that season 4 of "Orange Is The New Black" season 4 might be aired before June, as the latest series is now under production based on the most recent Twitter posts of the show's cast.

"There's a half-decent chance we could see season 4 before June, if Netflix wants to do that," said Olin.

In the meantime, a number of characters in "Orange Is The New Black" are starting to make their presence felt in the highly-acclaimed series which is gearing up for season 4, reported Melty.

Among the previously unnoticed characters who are now establishing their mark on the show is Black Cindy (Tova Hayes), whose performance has been "both incredibly successful and immensely entertaining."

Other characters who are also getting more screen time are Flaca (Jackie Cruz) and Boo (Lea DeLaria) who have both been been given a whole episode worth of flashbacks, giving viewers a better insight into their past.

Another character which followers of "Orange Is The New Black" are interested to learn more about in season 4 is Chang (Lori Tann Chin), who used to be the feared leader of an organized crime network but is now obsessed in losing her weight through Vitamin C.
