Elle Chooses Actress Gong Seung Yeon As One Of The Most Promising Young Talents

Rising star Gong Seung Yeon celebrated Elle's 23rd anniversary with a special pictorial in the November issue.

The actress was one of the 23-year-old stars chosen to represent promising young talents in the entertainment and professional sports industries. For her photo, Gong had a dramatic closeup and used neutral tones for her makeup to let her natural beauty shine.

During the interview, Gong talked about the magic of the tender age of 23. She stated, "It is a beautiful age and the best time, although I'm not sure how to explain why, but I'm just enjoying it."

Gong also talked about her character Seo Noo-Ri from the hit SBS drama Heard It Through The Grapevine. She revealed, "Seo No Ri is almost the same age as me and the drama showed other 20-somethings going through problems. I really liked playing her. Why do people only take one look and make conclusions based on that? That's because they ignore the root of the problem. That's just like Seo No Ri, who made the same mistake, but at the same time you can start all over again if you wish."

In other fashion news, Gong Seung Yeon recently rocked sophisticated ensembles for the October issue of Harper's Bazaar.
