Jennifer Lawrence Shows New Short Hairstyle at GLAAD Media Awards...Flubs Bill Clinton's Name![VIDEO]

At The 2013 GLAAD Media Awards, which took place Saturday night at the JW Marriott in Los Angeles, Jennifer Lawrence shocked her fans by showing off a new hairstyle and flubbing Bill Clinton's name on stage.

The GAALA was filled with stars like Charlize theron, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kirsten Dunst, but the attention was on Lawrence.

Low-maintenance gal like Lawrence traded in her long locks for a relaxed bob, resting above her shoulders. With wavy layers, she added some side-swept bangs as her fringe was styled in loose curls.

The Silver Linings Playbook star, added some honey-colored highlights that warmed up her complexion. Lawrence wore a basic black dress and kept her makeup relatively simple, with nude lips and smoky eyes, drawing focus to the new hairdo'.

The GLAAD Media Awards is the largest, most visible LGBT gala in the nation, celebrating the most outstanding LGBT images in the media.

Through news, entertainment and social media, GLAAD has been used as a tool to bring culture-changing stories of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) people into millions of homes every day in hope of growing a LGBT community of acceptance and equality.

This years event, hosted by Drew Barrymore, honored Bill with an Advocate For Change Award.

Jennifer Lawrence hit the stage with Harvey Weinstein and First Daughter alum Chelsea Clinton, and apparently flubbed Bill's name during her speech!

But the Commander-in-Chief took it in stride, and while accepting his award even joked:

"I don't know why Harvey made Jennifer do that. She really was like 2-years-old when I became president. I met her backstage and she looked like she was touring the Museum of Natural History."

He went on to say:

"It's sort of humbling when you get to be my age when your child knows more than you do about everything. Chelsea and her gay friends have modeled to me how we should all treat each other regardless of our sexual orientation or any other artificial difference that divides us. Many of them come and join us every Thanksgiving for a meal. I have grown very attached to them. And over the years, I was forced to confront the fact that people who oppose equal rights for gays in the marriage sphere are basically acting out of concern for their own identity, not out of respect for anyone else. You are the agents of change. I got this award tonight, because I was the object of your affection - or not, as the case may be. My daughter led me to support the marriage equality law in New York when we were debating it, and to oppose North Carolina's denial of marriage equality, and to do all these other things. So I want to thank her too. Thank you, GLAAD. Thank you, Chelsea."

We love Bill and hope that the rest of the evening was filled with just as many laughs and a shared passion for progress!
