Kang Dong Won took the cover for the November issue of High Cut, also known as Vol. 161. The actor looked enigmatic in an international pictorial filled with black wardrobe pieces. He rocked wool coats, long pants and shiny dress shoes while standing in the darkness with a melancholic expression. The star also had sleek wet hair that made it seem as though he had been running in a rainstorm, and ran into the church building for cover. His set was the mesmerizing Bergamo Cathedral, a Roman Catholic cathedral located in Italy.
According to the magazine, "Bergamo Cathedral has a quiet grandeur, spectacular height and is located in an old square in the middle of exotic alleyways. Kang Dong Won walked and walked. He showed a second story and different side."
During the interview, Kang had nothing but praise for his Black Priests co-star Kim Yoon Suk. He stated, "We drink almost every night and talk about what we have to film the next day. He thinks about movies 24 hours a day. His passion for movies is amazing."
Kang Dong Won is gearing up for a big comeback in 2016. He has two upcoming films: Veiled Time and A Violent Prosecutor. For the latter, he'll be sharing the screen with Hwang Jung Min and Lee Sung Min.
