Man Attacked By Shark Australia As Well As Another Man Attacked By A Crocodile: Both Men Survive

While attempting to free three sharks that he accidently netted while fishing, a fisherman was bite on both legs last week off the coast of New South Whales.

The Australian man, Alan Saunders, was able to get one shark back into the water, but the second shark started attacking.

According to The Guardian. Saunders was bitten on both legs and suffered "deep puncture wounds."

"Alan was involved in removing one of the sharks out of the wings of the net," Ray Saunders, the brother of Alan told Yahoo. "He released that shark but another shark came in and bit him on both legs."

Australia wasn't a good place to be in the water.

In another story like this shark attack in Australia, a saltwater crocodile attacked a 29-year-old man in Australia's northern territories. Yoann Galeran was swimming from the shore in the remote town of Nhulunbuy on Sunday when the attack occurred, according to the BBC. The man was bitten in the head, neck, and shoulders, but survived and only required stitches for his wounds.

"I just feel that I've been lucky and I just think [if it was] a bigger crocodile, I maybe wouldn't have any head," he told ABC News.
