Meanwhile, The Corrs announced their comeback recently in a Malton Mercury report including an announcement of a new album.

"We never sort of decided to stop or quit as a band," Sharon Corr said. "We've had eight children between us in the mean time so that kind of takes up 10 years so I think we were sort of entitled to it after sort of 15 years of being on the road."

"But music is part of the fabric of us. It is absolutely who we are. This is what we do, so it's not really a revelation from that point of view if you know what I mean. This is what we do so we're just doing it."

Furthermore, a report from RTE revealed how U2 singer Bono gave The Corrs a thumbs up with their new album songs.

"He has heard it all," Andrea said. "We're very fortunate to have him as a friend and also in certain ways a bodyguard. I will often go to him with, 'what do you think of this?'. He has been so supportive and really loves the record."

"I'm really happy when it's positive because also I know he'd tell me the truth if he didn't like it, I'd be hearing all about it, so it's a hell of a compliment."
