Psy, "My US Manager First Wanted My Copyright, Not Me"

Psy revealed that his U.S. manager, Scooter Braun, was initially interested only in his copyright to "Gangnam Style," not Psy the artist.

On April 22, Psy featured as a guest on the radio show, 'Bae Chulsoo's Music Camp'.

Psy recalled that "When Scooter Braun first contacted me, he was not interested in who I was as an artist. He wanted to buy my copyright to 'Gangnam Style' so that he can mix it up and have Justin Bieber sing it."

After the money talk continued, Psy "decided that these matters should not be handled over the phone" and flew over to the United States. "It was during my flight that Scooter Braun got to see one of my concert clips. He wanted to know whether I can speak English and, if so, he wanted to sign a contract with me," Psy added.

Psy is set to depart for the United States on April 25 to begin his promotional tour.
