Three cities, eight concert days and 300,000 screaming Japanese fans.
EXO's latest Japanese tour can be called a huge success with the huge turnout numbers for the tour concerts, reports Allkpop.
More than 300,000 fans trooped to the eight EXO'luXion Tour concerts held in Fukuoka on October 31 to November 1, Tokyo on November 6 to 8, and Osaka on November 13 to 15.
EXO thrilled Japanese fans by performing more than two dozen songs, including their greatest hits so far, including "Growl," "Overdose," and "Call Me Baby." The nine-member boy group also delighted the local crowd with the Japanese singles "Love Me right" and "Drop That."
The 300,000 number is not surprising given that more than 145,000 fans attended EXO's Tokyo Dome concerts alone, or nearly 50,000 fans for each of the three Tokyo concert days.
EXO are cementing their status as one of the most popular K-Pop acts in Japan. Their debut single album Love Me Right~ Romantic Universe~ sold 147,000 copies on release day, shooting up the Oricon Chart and clinching the record for most albums sold by a Korean artist.
After making Japanese fans go wild in the past two weeks and also unsheathing their Star Wars-inspired "Lightsaber" collaboration single, EXO are scheduled to bring their tour to the Chinese territory of Macau.
