Naver's V App To Send 50 Users To 2015 Mnet Asian Music Awards Ceremony In Hong Kong

Watch livestreams on an app to watch MAMA live - that's the idea of Naver's newest promotion.

Fifty users of Naver's livestream app V will be rewarded with a trip to the much-anticipated Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) 2015 which happens on December 2 in Hong Kong, reports The Korea Herald.

As a prize, Naver will provide free round-trip airfare and a MAMA 2015 event pass for each winner, but it is important to note that accommodation and other expenses will not be shouldered by Naver and instead borne by the winner.

Lucky fans will be able to watch in person as their favorite idols perform and accept awards, voting for which began in October.

So far, over the weekend, Big Bang fans had been rocking the vote and pushing the boy band into the front of the pack in top categories such as UnionPay Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Male Group. This is impressive given the strength of the competition, such as EXO as a rival in the Best Male Group.

Drawing for the winners began earlier last week and will end on Sunday, after which winners will be individually notified a few days after.

For the lucky fans that do get to win through the Naver V App contest, it would be prudent to read through our own travel guide which lists the top 5 tips for international fans wanting to attend the biggest event in K-Pop.
