One Direction, 5SOS Don’t Want Joint Tour Again? Aussie and Brit Boy Bands No Longer Friends?

A One Direction and 5SOS tour may not be happening once again anytime soon.

In an interview with Heat magazine, Ashton Irwin himself admitted that the world won't be seeing anyone among Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson sharing the stage with his band once again when the Brit boy band takes a break and go solo next year.

"No, that would be inappropriate I think," Ashton Irwin told the source about when asked if their band would invite any of the 1D members to support them when they go solo.

"They will be just fine on their own," Irwin also pointed out in defense of the Brit band.

Aside from the tour issue, Ashton Irwin also admitted that he and his bandmates on 5SOS have lost touch with the One Direction boys because both bands have been pretty busy lately.

"We don't actually [speak anymore], we've been really busy at the moment," Ashton Irwin said as cited by Just Jared Jr.

Rumors immediately circulated that the Aussie and Brit boys may not be in good terms because of the above statement by it seemed their friendship were still intact.

"I got a nice message from Harry [Styles] the other day, he said, 'congratulations on the number one album' but that's about it," Ashton Irwin further said.

Michael Clifford has even taken to Twitter last week to commend one of 1D's new songs - "What A Feeling."

"Oh yeah holy s-t," Michael Clifford tweeted. "'What A Feeling' by 1D is probably the greatest song ever."

To avoid further rumors, the Aussie boy band has refused to talk about the Brit boy band. Upon arriving in the US a few days ago for their tour, their team immediately quashed questions about 1D.

"We're not saying anything about One Direction, Ok," the 5SOS handler told TMZ when they Aussie boys arrived at LAX for their tour.
