'Unpretty Rapstar' Contestant KittiB Signs With Brand New Music

Rapper KittiB (Kim Bomi) has signed a contract with Brand New Music.

KittiB, winner of the semi-finals for Mnet's female rap battle reality show Unpretty Rapstar 2, has signed a contract with Brand New Music, which is one of the top hip-hop labels in Korea.

Rhymer (Kim Se Hwan), founder for the label in 2011, saw KittiB's rapping potential and offered her a contract. Plus, Rhymer was close to her prior to KittiB attending and appearing on Unpretty Rapstar.

"KittiB has infinite potential in that she has various talents not only in rapping, but also as a singer-songwriter," said Rhymer, as reported by K-Pop Herald.

Back in September, KittiB revealed during a press conference that she is working hard to perform under pressure, and Rhymer will support her musical career.

"We are slated to actively support her so that the artist can pursue her own musical field."

KittiB's first performance as an artist will be on Dec. 12, where she will perform at the label's concert Brand New Year 2015.
