Foo Fighters New Album On Its Way? Band Releases New Song

Slowly but surely, Foo Fighters are revealing what the countdown on their official website is all about and a new album could possibly be on its way.

According to a report by NME, the band teased about a new song, which may be called "Nothing Set In Stone," as it is what the countdown says.

In the same report, it has been revealed that the Foo Fighters have at least five tracks prepared, to what some fans believe would be the start of a new album for the group and an immediate follow up to "Sonic Highways."

In a report by Uproxx, the five songs are entitled "Iron Rooster," "Neverending Sigh," "Saint Cecilia," "Savior Breath" and "Sean."

"You know what I did last night?" Grohl told the audience in Austin City recently. "We recorded five f*cking new songs in your beautiful city."

Meanwhile, in addition to new album news, Foo Fighters recently cancelled the rest of their European leg in light of the Paris terrorist attacks that happened a week ago.

In a report by Rolling Stone, the group revealed in a Facebook post how they plan to reschedule their cancelled shows and expressed their heartfelt sympathies to the victims of the tragedy.

"It is with profound sadness and heartfelt concern for everyone in Paris that we have been forced to announce the cancellation of the rest of our tour," the band stated.

"In light of this senseless violence, the closing of borders, and international mourning, we can't continue right now.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was hurt or who lost a loved one."

"For ticket holders, we will have more information soon, so please hang tight."
