Papa Roach is reportedly making a new album and a quick follow up to their recently released record "F.E.A.R. (Face Everything And Rise)," which came out early this year.
In a recent report by Blabbermouth, guitarist Jerry Horton revealed how the group is on the planning stage of a tour to promote the record and also has thoughts about writing new songs for a follow up release.
"It's really kind of up in the air," Horton talked about the future for Papa Roach including new album plans. "We talked about taking a break for a while, but also writing. But at the same time, there might be a couple of tours that we wanna do. So we're really kind of seeing how everything is gonna pan out, just because we don't wanna commit to any one thing just quite yet."
Although there are no concrete materials for now, he also stated how they already have ideas for new songs and that they are excited if they could produce a new album for Papa Roach anytime soon.
"We don't have [completed] songs [at this point], but there's always ideas floating around," he said. "There's riffs and stuff recorded already, but Jacoby [Shaddix, vocalist] hasn't dug in yet. So it's just kind of music at this point."
Meanwhile, with talks about a new album from Papa Roach, singer Jacoby Shaddix revealed in a Loud Wire report what he thinks about their recently released studio effort.
"[F.E.A.R. is] the sickest, most illest P-Roach record to date," Shaddix said. "It's fiery. It's like I'm holding a light orb in my hand and when I put it to the sky, I take off like a superhero if that makes any sense. It's for real."
With nothing set in stone for now, Papa Roach is expected to come up with a new album in 2017 or by late 2016.
