B1A4's Gongchan Laughs Off Overzealous Fan Who Tried To Kiss Him At Mexican Concert

When K-pop idols go overseas, it is normal to express excitement. But one Mexican fan went too far when B1A4 appeared at a fan signing event.

Korean boy band B1A4 held their "Adventure 2015 Live in Mexico" concert in Mexico on Nov. 11 and also held a fan signing. Shortly after the event, images and a video clip from the event went viral after one fan attempted to spring a surprise attack on one B1A4 member.

A female fan grabbed B1A4's Gongchan (Gong Chan Sik) by his wrist and attempted to kiss him during the event.

Despite the situation, Gongchan was able to pull away from the fan before the pair was able to lock lips. Following this, Gongchan was able to laugh off the kiss attack and continue with the fan signing.

B1A4 are known for showing affection to fans overseas, despite occasional negative incidents.

A fan meeting in Malaysia included audience members hugging the members of B1A4, but resulted in public outcry in the Islamic country after videos showing the event garnered attention by religious authorities.

B1A4 debuted in 2011 and released their latest EP, "Sweet Girl" in August.

The group's "B1A4 Adventure" concert tour kicked off in Seoul in September. Since the beginning of the month, B1A4's performed in Texas, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. The group will also take their tour to Hong Kong, Finland, Germany, and Madrid before the end of the year.
