A.J. Clemente's F-Bomb Led To His Firing; Young News Anchor To Appear As Guest On "Today" Show [VIDEO]

Facebook users have created a petition for A.J. Clemente protesting the young news anchor's firing after he cursed on a live broadcast on Monday.

Without knowing he was on-air, A.J. Clemente mumbled "F------ s---," as he looked over his notes nervously just before his co-anchor introduced him to the viewers of Bismarck's NBC affiliate KFYR.

A.J. Clemente was immediately suspended from KFYR following that evening's 5 p.m. newscast, according to a statement released by news director/anchor Monica Hannan. He was then fired the next day, which he said on his Twitter account.

"Unfortunately KFYRTV has decided to let me go. Thank you to them and everyone in ND for the opportunity and everyone for the support," A.J. Clemente tweeted.

His story has been spread across the internet, and he even tweeted Tuesday on what is next for him.

"MT Off to my home state, #NYC. Meeting up family and friends from #DE.Next time you see me, it will be on @todayshow. Thank God for each day," A.J. Clemente tweeted.

Clemente will now be a guest on "Today" and talk about the incident.

A.J. Clemente is a graduate from West Virginia University and was prepared for his television debut on the North Dakota outlet of NBC.
