SISTAR's Yoon Bora now knows how to do CPR and is encouraging more people to get involved.
Bora was appointed by the Ministry of Health and Welfare to be the new ambassador of emergency first aid and will spread the importance of learning CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) to others.
The K-pop singer will appear in CPR training materials presented by the government department to promote awareness and keep everyone safe.
Bora revealed her excitement and the importance of learning how to save a person's life by CPR.
"I'm happy to spread the importance of CPR to more people, and I also feel a sense of responsibility," said Bora, as reported by Allkpop.
Bora also revealed that the life-saving method is not hard to learn and that anyone can save a person's life.
"CPR isn't hard or complicated. Anyone can save anyone else by applying pressure to the center of the chest."
Aside from her becoming an ambassador, the SISTAR member will join the cast of Law of the Jungle for the upcoming season.
Also, Bora attended Phiaton X Teddy's event on Nov. 5, which was to promote Teddy's new headphone line.
