JYJ member and musical star Kim Junsu has been recast in the musical Dracula for two weeks for the first time in two years.
According to the production companies, OD Company and CJeS Culture, Kim Junsu will be playing the lead role can be seen performing at the Sejong Cultural Central Large Stage on January 23, 2016.
Kim Junsu will play the role of Dracula, who had loved a woman for a thousand years. With his love and pains in the musical, Junsu, as well as the production has been receiving great reviews. Other than, Kim, Park Eun Suk is the alternate actor that acts in the role of Dracula.
Dracula is based on the same-titled novel by Irish writer Bram Stoker. American musical composer Frank Wildhorn took part in creating the musical version and in 2004, the play came to life in the U.S. for the first time. Afterwards, it was then shown in Sweden, the UK, Canada, and Japan.
Last year, the Cultural Opera Stage showed their first production in Korea. At that time, the seating was at 92% and gained popularity.
