Boys will be girls, at least when it comes to Korean entertainers.
K-pop stars will do anything for a laugh, and there's a long history of male Korean entertainers crossdressing. This week, the K-Pop Herald reviewed some of the best instances of male celebrities dressing up as women and asked "Who's The Drag Queen?"
The list included several K-pop idol group members as well as actor Lee Min Ho and rapper Psy.
"Many male celebrities in Korea have dressed up as women and flaunted their pretty looks in wigs, heavy makeup and girlish dresses to entertain their fans at their concerts or entertainment programs," wrote the K-Pop Herald. "Here is a list of stars who have masqueraded as women. Who do you think is the queen of Korean drag?"
The list began with a picture of Super Junior's Heechul dressed up as Princess Anna from the Disney film "Frozen," and then featured actor Lee Min Ho dressed up as a school girl.
Pictures of SHINee's Minho and EXO's Suho dressed up as members of Girls' Day during a cover performance of "Something" were also included.
The list ended with hilarious images of Psy at one of his concerts and Big Bang's Daesung dressed up as a character from the group's "Secret Garden" parody.
