Fiestar's Yezi, who has risen to stardom after competing in Unpretty Rapstar 2, modeled Umbro sporty ensembles for the December issue of @Star1. The wardrobe had a clear 1990s inspiration and Yezi's quiet confidence was perfect for showing off the new campaign pieces.
During the interview, Yezi revealed that she was shocked Unpretty Rapstar 2 viewers thought she had a "fierce" image.
"I found that out from watching the show." She explained. "I think 'fierce' is only one of the many sides I have. I'm pretty okay with it. Some people saw that [the "Crazy Dog" performance] and thought I looked fierce. When I saw it, I thought I looked crazy. That's really not how I am normally... I swear."
She continued, "I'm the kind of person who says what they mean. I don't say anything I don't believe. Is that fierce? But I always try to listen to people. Even though I go through life with unwavering confidence, I need to hear the opinions of others to help me improve."
Yezi also discussed how she was able to deal with criticism like a professional, without allowing it to cloud her judgment or second guess her decisions.
"My personality has changed over time. When I was a trainee, I was nervous too. There aren't a lot of things that haven't been hard for me." She disclosed. "My debut was like that, and having to sing and rap was hard too because I didn't have confidence in my abilities. I've met a lot of nice people, and I've met a lot of people who have hurt me too. But you learn from everything that happens to you."
