Former Victoria's Secret Model Kylie Bisutti Dishes On Why She Quit: Horrible Agents, Eating Disorders, and Feeling "Like A Piece Of Meat".

Kylie Bisutti has a new memoir detailing why she gave up her modeling career with Victoria's Secret to focus on her faith. In her new memoir, Bisutti, 23, details why being a Victoria's Secret Angel was, surprisingly, not as wholesome and Christian as she thought it would be. She quit in 2012 to marry and move to Montana with her husband and says she's much happier there.

Bisutti's book, I'm No Angel: From Victoria's Secret Model to Role Model, will be out on May 14. Bisutti, originally from California and a devout Christian, moved to New York at 15 to pursue her dream of modeling--- but it quickly turned nightmarish. In 2009, Bisutti, then 19, won a Victoria's Secret model search, beating 10,000 other girls.

She said she quit because she realized she was "paid to strip down and pose provocatively to titillate men," and that "It wasn't about modeling clothes anymore; I felt like a piece of meat."

And modeling being sinful wasn't the only problem she faced - in her new memoir, I'm No Angel, Kylie Bisutti dishes on the modeling industry's dark side, including horrible agents, including eating disorders, sexual harassment, and more.

"I pretty much restricted my diet to oatmeal, fruits and vegetables to meet runway expectations," Bisutti told "The New York Post". "I'm 5-foot-10, and I got down to 115 pounds with measurements of 34-24-34. In February 2007, New York Fashion Week was approaching, and while everyone I knew was being sent out to auditions, I wasn't."

This was because, according to Bisutti, an agent told her "You look like a fat cow right now, Kylie. You need to lose 2 inches off of your hips."

Now, she says, she's happily living in Montana, volunteering in church, and spending quality time with husband Mike. "I've never been more content. I no longer restrict what I eat...I want young girls to see me at a healthy size." She hopes her memoir will tell them that "beauty isn't about what you look like, it's about what's in your heart."
