f(x)'s Krystal Lands Role In Fashion-Themed Chinese TV Drama

Krystal Jung is making bigger career leaps in China, and her latest project is the perfect combination of her passion for fashion and her bureoning acting career.

Krystal has been cast as the lead role in an upcoming fashion-themed Chinese TV drama. On Nov. 28, a broadcast insider contacted MyDaily News with the information "Krystal has been cast as the main female lead in the Chinese drama 'Graduation Season.'"

The insider continued by releasing further details about the upcoming TV program. "The drama is a romance story set in the fashion world. Because Krystal has a refined fashion sense, she was deemed to be a perfect fit for the role."

Filming is scheduled to begin in early 2016 in China after the role of male lead is selected. Krystal also attended a press event for "Graduation Season" on Nov. 29.

Krystal has acting experience in a multitude of dramas, including MBC's "High Kick: Revenge of the Short Legged", and the hit SBS dramas "Heirs" and "My Lovely Girl." Krystal has a significant amount of fans in China, who know her through her idol activities in girl group f(x) and her roles in dramas.

In related news, K-pop girl group f(x), which Krystal is also a member of, will be performing with the iconic Pet Shop Boys during the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) on Dec. 2 andn will hold their first solo concert in Jan. 2016 in Seoul.
