Kylie Bisutti Memoir Reveals She Quit Modeling As Victoria's Secret Angel For Her Faith, Says "I Felt Like a Piece of Meat" [Video]

Ex-Victoria Secret Model Kylie Bisutti explains why she gave up modeling in her new memoir, I'm No Angel: From Victoria's Secret Model to Role Model.

Apparently, two years after signing the modeling contract with the huge lingerie brand by beating out 10,000 others girls in a contest, her strong Christian views clashed with the career.

"I was being paid to strip down and pose provocatively to titillate men," she tells The Post. "It wasn't about modeling clothes anymore; I felt like a piece of meat."

Before becoming a Victoria Seret Angel, Bisutti was jut one of the millions of aspiring models trying to get runway gigs. The 5-foot-ten model was dwindling down to 115 pounds in 2007 after her agent told her he couldn't book her for fashion week because she was "a fat cow" and she needed to lose 2 more inches off her already bony hips.

"I pretty much restricted my diet to oatmeal, fruits and vegetables to meet runway expectations," she recalls.

Bisutti's curves were embraced by Victoria's Secret and the beauty, then 19, was delighted to be an Angel.

But the business was slowly starting to get in the way of her love of Jesus, and she quit being a model in 2011 to focus on her faith.

Now, Bisutti said she's happily living in Montana with her husband Mike and volunteering at their church. "I've never been more content," she says. "I no longer restrict what I eat. I weigh 124 pounds right now, but my ideal weight is 125. I want young girls to see me at a healthy size."

Kylie's book, I'm No Angel: From Victoria's Secret Model to Role Model, hits stands on May 14.

She prays her memoir spreads the message that "beauty isn't about what you look like, it's about what's in your heart."
