The Melissa Gilbert wedding with groom Timothy Busfield has been confirmed. Gilbert and Busfield were married "in a private ceremony at San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara on April 24," according to Gilbert's rep.

Melissa Gilbert, 48, wed Timothy Busfield, 55 and posted a snapshot of the wedding to Twitter. Gilbert was wearing a  strapless scarlet-red gown to complement her red hair, and the affair was said to be intimate but unconventional. She carried a bouquet of red and white flowers and Busfield sported a navy blue suit and white shirt with a flower pinned to the lapel.

The duo announced their engagement in January - it came as a huge shocker, because nobody even knew they were dating!  They celebrated their engagement in December with a party at Mr. Chow's in Hollywood.

The "Dancing With The Stars" alum and "Little House On The Prairie" star has been married twice before, as has" Thirtysomething" star Busfield. Gilbert is a mother of two. Busfield has three children--- so combined, they'll be five! The San Ysidoro Ranch is a historical Santa Barbara icon that has been host to a bevy of other celeb weddings.
