MAMA 2015 Red Carpet Recap: Seventeen Kick Things Off With Special Performance, Monsta X And EXO Nab Pre-Show Awards

The 2015 Mnet Asian Music Awards have finally arrived and the biggest night in K-pop kicked off with the always fun and fashion-filled red carpet pre show.

Hosted by Moon Hee Joon, Shin A Young and Z.Hera, fans watching from home were encouraged to keep an eye on everyone's fashion, with live voting open for the Best Asian Style honor.

Seventeen kicked off the pre-show with a special red carpet performance. Despite the small stage, the 13-member group delivered a lively, dance-heavy number to pump the crowd up.

After doing a special red carpet stage themselves, a black and red-clad Monsta X were presented with the award for Next Generation Asian Artist.

Helping to connect the bridge between the Korean-centered awards ceremony and the host city of Hong Kong, Chinese singer Vivian Koo serenaded the crowd with a sweet performance of “Listen to the Sea.”

GOT7 hit the stage for the last special performance of the MAMA pre-show with “Girls Girls Girls” and even threw in some acrobatic flips to their synchronized dance moves.

Dressed in cozy sweaters, turtlenecks and blazers, EXO were presented with the Best Asian Style award on the red carpet. The nine-member group are also one of the most highly anticipated performers for the ceremony, having delivered mind-bending choreography for the 2013 and 2014 MAMAs.

The MAMA pre-show wrapped up with a fashion reel of all the fabulous ensembles worn by Korea's top entertainers on the red carpet.
