27-year-old Kaley Cuoco was on Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday night talking about her show "The Big Bang Theory" and a bad hairdo she wore to the SAG Awards in January.

Kaley Cuoco stars on the "Big Band Theory" along side actors Johnny Galecki and Jim Parsons. While on Jimmy Kimmel Kaley Cuoco sat down and explained that there was an important reason why she was coming on the show and that she needed to get something off her chest.

Before Cuoco got into the very important topic of her bad hairdo she had a little story to tell that would lead up to why her SAG Awards hairdo was less than well received.

Kaley Cuoco (Penny) was talking to Kimmel about a prank she and Johnny Galecki (Lenard) were going to play on the cast and crew while filming a Valentines Day episode of "The Big Bang Theory." Lenard and Penny were having a fight in this particular episode and the actors thought it would be funny if they began to physically fight on set and scare the cast and crew when Galecki threw Cuoco across the room.

"On our show Johnny and I decided to play a prank," Cuoco told Kimmel. "We were pre-shooting and Johnny and I decided lets do a prank where he actually fake punches me and I go flying out of frame and he was going to pretend to punch me. Just for the gag reel all playing."

Kaley Cuoco explains that the prank went perfectly until she cracked her head open and had blood pouring out of a cut on her head.

"Everyone is like cracking up and [Galecki] is punching me. The writers, Chuck Lorre is dying laughing, everyone is laughing...now everyone is cracking up and I'm under the table...thinking I think I got hit in the head."

Cuoco explains that when she stood up everyone stopped laughing and just starred at her. Cuoco asked, "you guys did it look real?" the cast and crew looked at Cuoco in horror as she was bleeding at first thinking it was part of the joke than realizing she had cracked her head open.

Cuoco told Kimmel she had to get six stitches and that brought Cuoco back to her explanation as to why her hairdo at the SAG Awards was so bad. Cuoco wore a boxy looking hairdo with bangs that did not flatter her face in order to hide the black eye she ended up with as a result of her prank.

As a TV star Cuoco is used to seeing some negative press in the tabloids about this fashion choice or that fashion choice. The former "8 Simple Rules" star was shocked at how much attention her bad hairdo was getting her.

Cuoco actually said her fake bangs almost ruined her career. She brought the bangs (named Bev) with her and gave them to Kimmel. The late night host had a great idea how to help Kaley Cuoco put her bad hairdo behind her.

Attaching Bev the bangs to a bunch of helium filled balloons, Kimmel's assistant went up to the roof and released the balloons, sending Bev the bangs up into the sky never to be seen again. At least until all the helium in those balloons leak out and somebody finds a lump of fake blonde hair in their backyard.
