Moschino "Super Mario" collaboration brings iconic characters into designer clothing.
Iconic characters from games, anime series, cartoons and films, or iconic figures in general, have made their way to wearable fashion. Jeremy Scott, Moschino's Creative Director, put McDonalds, SpongeBob and Barbie into clothing and have become a part of wearable fashion popular by fashionistas all over the world.
The Moschino "Super Mario" collaboration is the most recent fusion of fashion and pop culture for the brand.
Moschino Experience reported, "The collection includes printed t-shirts and knitted sweaters, characterized by the graphic of the video games hero, along with a series of colorful bags and accessories in leather, ranging from backpacks to bucket bags, and from wallets to belts – all personalized with images of Luigi, Princess Peach, coins, stars and mushrooms that appear during Mario’s many adventures."

"Super Mario" is a series of platform video games created by Nintendo. The game happens in the ficitional Mushroom Kingdom were Mario goes on various adventures. The main protagonist, Mario, runs and jumps across various platforms and defeats enemies by jumping on top of them. The game series has been running since it's inception on September 1985 where the game plot usually has Mario rescue the kidnapped Princess Peach from the main antagonist Bowser.
The latest game in the series "Super Mario Maker" is very popular amongst gamers old and new because of its creative gameplay and fun themes. While the game has been in the market for 30 years, the games Nintendo comes up with always evolves.
