Jose Canseco Supports Amanda Bynes; Disgraced Baseball Player Supports Troubled Actress On Twitter Over Complex Magazine Feud

Troubled actress Amanda Bynes has found an unlikely supporter in disgraced baseball player Jose Canseco. The former MLB player Canseco reached out to Bynes via Twitter after she posted a tweet slamming Complex Magazine for negative coverage of her.

Bynes posted several angry tweets about the magazine before they invited her out for a night on the town in response. "Whatever it takes to get you to stop writing negatively about me!" she replied back.

Shortly after her tweet, Canseco replied back by writing, "slap for @complexmag."

It remains unclear whether Canseco or Bynes have a friendship or if they've even met each other. The Las Vegas native currently has 503,000 Twitter followers, compared to Bynes' 700,000 followers on the social media site.

Earlier that day, Bynes went on a Twitter rant at the magazine. "I'm hating the ugly people that work at @complexmag magazine for writing incorrect articles about me. Joe, Noah, Ernest, you ugly!" she tweeted. "You're ugly writers, I don't want to be in your lame ass magazine thanks! So stop writing about me!"

She then bragged about her wealth, piggybacking on previous claims she made to InTouch magazine that she is as rich as Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. The Olsen twins are worth a reported $300 million.

"Are any of you multi-millionaires? I highly doubt it! Because I'm loaded!" she tweeted. "Millionaires do thing less desperately than average folks like you. I have so much money that I'm giddy all day, every day. Not needing to work again is far more impressive than any of your ugly writers careers."

However, a source told InTouch that she is only worth about $5-$6 million and has not generated any income for the last three years. Friends of the actress are also concerned about her reportedly out of control spending habits since moving to NYC this fall, expressing fears that she will be broke within a few years.
