With 2015 quickly coming to an end, South Korea's major networks are planning and preparing for their end of the year music showcases.
KBS is up first with their 2015 song festival Gayo Daejun taking place on Dec. 30 at the Gocheok Sky Dome.
With 20,000 people ready to fill the stadium, major K-pop stars will perform their hottest hit songs of 2015. The line-up for the festival's first round features 18 artists: EXO, SHINee, Girls' Generation, CNBLUE, Red Velvet, G-Friend, EXID, MAMAMOO, AOA, A Pink, BTS, INFINITE, VIXX, B1A4, GOT7, BTOB, Ailee, and Noel.
Girls' Generation entertained fans in 2015 with their comeback singles titled "Party" and "Lion Heart."
Happy female group Red Velvet released the colorful single titled "Dumb Dumb" on Sept. 9.
SHINee showcased their amazing choreography with the release of their fourth studio album Odd on May 18. "View" was the title track.
CNBLUE rocked the stage with their amazing on "Cinderella," which was released on Sept. 14.
AOA charmed their fans and gave them a "Heart Attack" throughout the month of June.
Rising in popularity this year, G-Friend was a fan favorite for their amazing choreography and stage charm. Songs released in 2015 were "Glass Bead" and "Me Gustas Tu."
Proving that a leg injury cannot stop her, amazing vocalist Ailee made a comeback with "Mind Your Own Business" on Sept. 22.
MAMAMOO brought energy on stage again in 2015 with release of single titled "Um Oh Ah Yeh" on June 19.
Pink Pandas loved A Pink's return with the summer single titled "Remember" on July 16.
B1A4 charmed with their beautiful single titled "Sweet Girl" on Aug. 10.
BTOB sang beautifully with their ballad titled "Way Back Home," which was released on Oct. 12.
Male group GOT7 went for a darker and more mature image as they released their fourth EP Mad, with "If You Do" being the title track.
INFINITE showcased their swift choreography for "Bad" on July 2. "Bad" is off in their EP Reality.
EXID may have jolted in popularity after a fan cam of member Hani went viral, but the group proves they've got allt he talent with "Hot Pink" released on Nov. 14.
VIXX dropped their single titled "Chained Up" on Nov. 10, and it placed number one on various online music charts upon release.
BTS talked about the struggles of youth with "Run" on Nov. 30. Their EP The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt. 2 sold over 80,000 albums.
Noel released their third EP Invisible Things this year.
Mnet Asian Music Awards Best Album winners EXO returned with Exodus on Mar. 30 and swept charts with "Call Me Baby." A repackaged version of the album with the lead single "Love Me Right" was released in June.
The 2015 KBS Song Festival will kick off at 7:30 p.m. KST on Dec. 30.
